Digital Enhancements
Conditions are not always optimal for
photography. Some lighting
may be inoperable on an interior photo. The
landscaping
may not be installed, yet. The background may compete with your
product to the point of distraction.
The lift that needs to be used to lift the photographer to the
proper elevation cannot be cropped
out of the image. The early morning warm sun glow
is just a terribly back-lit, washed out building.

A Photo-Shoot for the Designers of
Decorative Columns
The maintenance people had lost the keys to turn on the lights on
the sides of the columns, so to properly portray the designers'
products, I created new light sources, including reflections.

I replaced the harsh light from the window,
removed a couple of pieces of furniture & added a little drama
to the room lighting.

The following several images are among a
series that I photographed for a Environmental Cleanup company
in So California. All of the equipment was stored in their
equipment storage lots & photographed as it sat. I re moved rust
& added a new coat of paint, then simulated a studio
background. This is an example of what can be done to show your
products (in almost any condition) to its best advantage.

Shooting time was kept to a minimum. Most of
the time spent on this was computer time.

Combining twilight & evening images helped
define & warm-up the living spaces while maintaining some of the
exterior's amenities.

On an early morning with no opportunity to
photograph this building later in the day when the sun might be
more helpful, I was able to simulate an early morning warm sun.
I, also enhanced the sky & cleaned up the parking lot.

North-facing buildings have limited lighting
possibilities. I took this backlit photo & created an early
sunrise look.
